After listening to the wind whip around and move the house all night long, we woke up to this beautiful sight.
Someone was happy to see the sun and not feel the wind anymore!
This guy was, too!
Breakfast was once again amazing. I have never seen bagel sandwiches like this! SO good.
We walked to the beach to look for shells and we found 'em!!
That water was like ICE!
We decided to take the ferry and that was a fun adventure! Because of the schedule, we didn't get to stay long on the other side but we will know for next time!
After that fun adventure, we went for ice cream AGAIN! We saved it for later in the day but we just had to have it!

Once we got back, we went to the beach again. It had warmed up and the wind stayed away so it was good. Only downside was Matt losing his new glasses, a pair of sunglasses and a hat when he was riding waves with Mason. 😑 But we moved on because there wasn't a thing we could do about it!
Maddox helped him out by giving him a new pair of glasses. 😂
That night, we took some family pictures and they went well! We ended up getting one for our family Christmas card!
I felt fresh and clean after that long day outside!
Everything obviously wore us out!
The final shell count!
The next morning was our last morning. It was chilly so we didn't stay out long.
These boys didn't want to leave the beach and I'm not sure Matt or I did either!
One last round of donuts helped us out!
Bye Oak Island! I hope we get to see you again real soon!
