Welcome to our blog, Did YOU Hear about the Morgans?
This blog is about our life as husband and wife and the beginning of our family. Matt and I met in April of 2009 and were friends for nearly 8 months before we began courting. Before we began our courtship, we really had become best friends so we were very serious about our courtship from the beginning. We dated for exactly 6 months before we got engaged (which was an incredible day) and just shy of 1 year of being together, we got married. 1/1/11 was our wedding date. People always say "Well, at least your husband will never forget that". I always say, "He is so good about things like that, we didn't even consider that fact".
Anyway, we really love married life. God has blessed us tremendously in providing for our every need and teaching us so much through each other. We moved to Spartanburg, SC in November of 2011 and really feel like this is home, which is so nice because we didn't really feel that way about Montgomery, Alabama.
On November 1st, 2013, we added a little guy to our family. Mason Matthew was born via c-section at 3:52 p.m. What a wild ride that was and has continued to be. Mason is the extra joy of our heart and has been such a blessing to our family. On June 6th, 2016, we added our second little guy. Maddox Matthew! He is FULL speed ahead and loves life!
On July 5th, 2015 and July 5th, 2018, we miscarried. We also delivered a set of twins, Maxwell and Marcus on February 14th, 2020 who no longer had heartbeats. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Matt is the Pro Desk Supervisor at The Home Depot here in Spartanburg and I semi-retired when Mason was born. I spend most of my days with Mason and Maddox and I work some evenings and weekends as a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist. For me, it's the best of both worlds.
Matt and I love to spend quiet evenings at home once we get the boys in bed for the evening. We love to watch shows together, rub each others feet, take fun quizzes on Sporcle and have at-home date nights! We also love fun adventures together as a family!
Thanks for reading our blog!!!
