More Snow Pics {February 2014}

I showed some of the pictures Matt took this past Wednesday when we went out in the snow but here is a snippet of what I had on my phone!

Tuesday morning, Matt let me sleep in and of course, I couldn't fall asleep so I just looked at the light snow from the bed!

It was barely snowing at this point so the guys when out for a quick second.

Then we decided to stay warm inside because we knew we were in for a LOT of snow!

Views from inside Tuesday morning:

Then, my guys got brave again!

Isn't this little guy the cutest!?!

Back inside later on that day;

This guy was WARM in his dino PJ's

Early Wednesday morning, Matt got brave again; Please note that I was inside this whole time!!

Wednesday at about 1:30pm, we all decided to go outside:

Mason was worn out!!

Late Wednesday night/Thursday morning

Matt's Home Depot opened back up Thursday morning so Matt went outside to get the ice/snow off of the truck and this is how deep our snow was! Unfortunately/Fortunately, he got stuck in the driveway and couldn't get to work! Darn! ;-)

Date with Dawn and LC

Monday morning, Dawn, LC, Mason, and me were finally able to get together! Dawn and I have read each other's blogs for a long time but every time we tried to get together, it fell through, until Monday!

We met at Atlanta Bread in Greenville. It was such a sweet time of getting to know each other. I think LC and MMM enjoyed each other too!

Mason and I had a little Mom & Me photoshoot before Dawn and LC arrived.

LC and MMM loved each other from afar mostly. :)

Dawn and MMM; He tried to give her a little smooch.

I loved this sweet girl! Isn't her shirt cute!?!

Those girls wore MMM out!

Unstoppable {A Book Review}

I've been getting some GREAT books to review lately. This one, Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action,  was provided to me for free by Blogging For Books in exchange for my review. I really enjoyed it!

I'm sure many of you have heard about or even seen Nick Vujicic before. Nick is an Australian native who now lives in California and is a well known worldwide inspirational speaker. Nick was born without arms and legs and has had a hard life but has overcome many, many obstacles to get where he is today.

Nick is the writer of Life Without Limbs as well as this book, Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action. He is also responsible for beginning the non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs. Their mission according to their website is "to cross boundaries and break down barriers, to build bridges that bring people to the love and hope found in Jesus Christ."

Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action is an encouraging story which includes much of Nick's life as well as stories about how others who have heard him speak, seen his videos or read his first book have been encouraged and had their lives changed.

Nick does his best to point to Jesus in this book and I think he does a great job of doing just that. In the book Nick addresses many issues and difficult circumstances including relationship issues, career challenges, health issues, personal situations, and bullying.

Nick also does an excellent job of balancing the story of his personal difficulties with a focus on how he has been able to overcome those difficulties by perseverance and of course, with the help of his Lord and Savior.

Here you can read a quick excerpt from the book. Watch out, you'll be hooked!

The Kindle version of this book is $7.99 right now! Get it while you can!

Casting Crowns Concert {A Giveaway!!!!}

Happy Thursday!!

This post is for all of you local folks! WOOHOO!!

I was contacted recently by Taylor and Leigh with the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC to do a giveaway for my readers!
Bon Secours has a ton of great events happening in the coming months as you can see below.
Taylor and Leigh gave me the option to pick from several events and I picked Casting Crowns!!

Casting Crowns will be at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on April 19th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.
I have to say that Casting Crowns is one of my favorite Christian music groups ever. Once I became a Christian and really started listening to Christian music, Casting Crowns was one of the first groups I listened to along with Third Day and Mercy Me.

I must admit that I'm a weeee bit jealous that I won't be attending this concert but sadly we will be out of town!

So, here's the deal. All you have to do to enter the giveaway is complete one or more of the activities below in the Rafflecopter widget. There are some Facebook options, blog comment options as well as some other options.

Also, can I ask you local readers and entrants to do me a favor? Share this post with others so that other people can enter. The more people who enter, the most likely it will be that I can do another giveaway in conjunction with Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

Good Luck to everyone!!

P.S. I did not receive any compensation for this post. This was just a fun collaboration!
