The Morgan's Movements 2019 {Week 43}

Goodness, he is so cute in these glasses!!!

I'm trying to incorporate Maddox more into Mason's school time. This morning, he helped Mason mark off words that he'd already said.

Best snuggle buddy.

Matt made Mason a Thor hammer for his costume for Halloween night. He was so proud. ME TOO!

More school time.

The weather was beautiful this week and we just needed to be outside!

Matt made us fried plantains. YUM!

Yep, more time outside. It's just a good idea!

Emily and I went to Hatcher Garden and caught a hawk eating dinner. It was fascinating. We followed him all around to see what he might do next.

Maddox went freestyle with these blocks and made his own creations.

Matt and I had a disagreement one evening and then was post-crying and resolution. We decided we need a line in the budget for ice cream.

Two handsome guys!

😂😂😂

Friend time!

Reading...he's frequently reading.

❤️❤️❤️

Birthday week for Mason started during this week and we try to do something small each day.
McDonald's...

Special cereal...

This is a scissor practicing game that we found. We've only played once but it's a fun one!

LEGOS!

More friend time...

OUT!

Neewollah 2019

On the weekend before Halloween, Croft State Park hosts Neewollah. We have been either 3 or 4 years and it is definitely a family favorite. Matt and I were READY!

When we got there, it was a bit warm so we just let the boys play sans costumes for a while.

We said Matt was dressed as a tourist!

Matt captured these next pictures of the kids playing and then the rest were from my phone, Kris's phone or Croft's FB page.

It was kind of like a date.

Some friends were there, too, and that made it extra special.
Matt found sticks and they had brought marshmallows so we got to roast some over the fire.

It's not everyday you get to roast marshmallows with Fred Flintstone.

Then it was time for costume!

Everyone was ready. We watched the small golf cart parade and then they participated in the costume contest.

Then it was time to trick or treat! It started heavy drizzling about halfway through but it didn't stop us.

Til next year, Neewollah!
