Monday morning was HAIRCUT DAY! Only about 6 weeks overdue!
Look at the hair! That's from just the two of them.
A few more pictures because they are cute.
That afternoon, rain was coming and we decided to forego our original plan and we stayed home, made snickerdoodle popcorn and watched a movie. :)
Tuesday morning, we had a MOPS steering team meeting and Mason was my big helper!
Wednesday morning, these boys were up EARLY but I got some snuggles so I tried not to mind. 😉
We ran a few errands and then head to Chick-Fil-A for story time.
Mason won the book, again!
We ate a late breakfast/early lunch and they also made rocket ships!
I caught this sweet moment later that morning. It's either this or fighting. #Brothers
That afternoon, I worked and Matt took the boys to story time. Maddox insisted on socks and sandals. 😑
The story time we typically attend is usually full of kids but the last two weeks, it's been Matt and the boys and one other child. Matt said it was a bit awkward but the boys didn't complain. :)
Look at this kid relaxing!
That night, Matt was at church and I went into the boys' bedroom to find Maddox in Mason's bed snuggling up, tucking the buddies in and saying "night night".
Thursday morning, we got our suits on to head to the splash pad to meet friends. Maddox was talking not he phone while waiting for us to leave. He talked to GiGi then PopPop. Look at those expressions! Some interesting conversation with GiGi for sure!
Splash pad/park fun!
Love these friends so much!
Kris and her girls handed us down a kitchen and the boys woke up Friday morning ready to play!
We had lots of errands that day and that evening, Matt did yard work. We had this weed that grew about half the height of the house. Matt got it chopped down. Boys thought it was hilarious. And yes, that's a butcher knife. 😂
Saturday morning, we headed to the park early and then went to the Farmer's Market. We got some sweet treats to share.
We planned to get blueberries and blackberries and while we were eating our treats, the blueberries sold out. 😩😩😩😩
We did get blackberries, a white squash and some green tomatoes.
Look at this cool cat!
We brought our farmer's market loot home and headed to Chick-Fil-A. Matt had free entree and I did, too. So we ate lunch for $2.13!
This one...
After nap, we pulled out some of our modeling clay from Crayola Factory and made some masterpieces.
After dinner, we headed outside to play while Matt started the grill for some things for the coming week. It started raining so we sat on the steps.
Then the neighbor stopped by with tomatoes AND ice cream! Shame they didn't enjoy it!
Sunday morning, we browsed Target and headed to church. After church, we went home and made the boys smoothies for lunch.
Then, the boys each got $2 out of their piggy banks and we headed down the street to a church yard sale. The boys were so proud to carry their money, ask how much things were and then pay despite the junk they purchased. 😉
That afternoon, Matt and Mason were supposed to have guy time playing LEGOS etc and I was going to nap. I walked in and found them in bed with Mason in my spot! Rascals.
What a good week. On to the next!
What a great week! You really do have the most fun! :) And their haircuts look a lot like mine. I always offer to donate my leftovers to Ryan. :)
