Mother's Day Weekend 2020

Mother's Day weekend was a pretty good one even though there were definitely some hard moments. 

We started it off with an Oreo taste test which was a lot of fun!! 

  

Maddox was definitely left with a Oreo belly! 

Maddox's request was to make me a cake for Mother's Day. It turned out so well! 

  

One of my meal requests was creamed beef and Matt delivered. It was fantastic! 

Goodness, I'm so grateful to be their momma. 

Sunday morning, Matt made delicious blueberry cake waffles! 

My guys had a few presents for me, too. 

Right before we headed out on a family walk, our precious neighbor brought strawberry pie. Oh my word. It was delicious. 

Our family walk was precious and I'm so glad my guys agreed to take one with me! 

  

  

After that, I did my Couch To 5K workout and it was awesome. Carried all of my babies with me. ❤️

That night, Matt and I had a date night dinner and it was delicious! 

I also received a fantastic massage from Mason...all his idea! 

  

Sunday, some emotions hit me hard and we had to work through them together. The good was ever-present and it was just a sweet weekend together. 

The Morgan's Movements 2020 {Week 19}

Well, here we are again. Another week of quarantine with lots and lots of home time. 

I often get to spend my days with superheroes so it's never dull. 

  

Mason found this little bitty 4 leaf clover. He was so proud. ❤️

Family walks...man, they are becoming so precious. 

Trying to fool me into to believing they are still asleep...

GiGi sent some bandanas and they love them. 

  

This water table was used like 2 times last year. This year, it's like it is brand new!

A little date night in...

Goodness, he gets the coziest. ❤️

We walked in honor/memory of Ahmaud one afternoon and we told our boys about him and how we are praying and believing for justice for him. It opened the door for more conversation that we hope to continue.

We did a taste test for cereals. It was a fun one! Next time we will include some milder cereals. 😂

Goodness, I cannot. 

The neighborhood hawk landed close by one morning and we were fascinated! He even hung out in the yard for a while! It was insane and awesome! 

  

  

Matt started reading this to the boys. 

Socially distant dinner for the win. We are 11 months strong for Second Tuesday dinners! 

Mason picked this because it looked like a heart and it reminded him of Marcus and Maxwell. ❤️
