We DID watch nearly every season of Kid's Baking Championship.
We DID NOT participate in many virtual meet-ups.
Matt DID work his typical schedule plus some.
We DID NOT go to public parks or any other public place aside from Matt going to the grocery store when needed.
We DID order groceries and have them delivered. Never thought we'd do that because I LOVE the grocery store but we were trying to keep the boys and I out of public as much as possible and Matt was just exhausted from work each day so it was worth it!
We DID have family movie nights often.
We DID bake LOTS of things including homemade brownies, pizza dough and then pizza, Cadbury egg blondies, funnel cakes, honey oat bread, chocolate cobbler, yellow cake with chocolate ganache.
We DID take advantage of every moment we were given to be outside.
We DID exercise at least 3 times a week.
We DID move our living room TV to our bedroom and have TV time on the bed and picnic dinners all together.
We DID eat outside several times.
We DID take car rides in our pajamas a couple of times, too!
We DID plant a little garden in our front flower (now vegetable) bed.
We DID deliver groceries to Matt's grandparents and visit with them from a distance a few times.
We DID cook at home constantly and started using paper plates for a time. To our knowledge, we only ate take-out 3 times.
We DID catch up on all of our thank you notes!
We DID make some epic weekend breakfasts and make some delicious baked goods. Homemade donuts, dutch/ocean pancake, biscuits and gravy with sausage, strawberry banana muffins.
We DID deal with a great deal of anxiety around all of the unknowns but we DID NOT let it overtake us and our day-to-day lives.
We DID finish our homeschool year! Mason finished 180 days of Kindergarten doing mostly 1st grade level work!
We DID NOT break any quarantine rules. We maintained our distance. We wore masks. We didn't congregate. We went places that were essential only.
We DID celebrate Easter at home. Egg hunts in the back yard. Easter baskets on the couch. Ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans, baked beans, rolls and sweet tea!
We DID NOT get to attend Spartanburg Spring Fling...one of our favorite Spartanburg events.
We DID NOT get to play t-ball like we'd hoped.
We DID NOT get to participate in Itty Bitty Soccer in person but we DID get to participate some online!
We DID NOT get to go to Louisiana for a long-awaited wedding.
I DID go to a friend's house and sit far apart and chat for a couple of hours.
We DID tons of yard work.
Matt DID several around-the-house projects he has been wanting to do including pressure washing and some light painting.
We DID fly kites in the backyard one afternoon.
We DID start a little bit different bed time routine.
We DID take some family walks.
What a crazy 50 days it has been and we still aren't sure when it will end so we are trying our best to focus on the good in our days.
