Birdhouse Painting with Grandmom and Granddad {September 10th, 2019}

Back in September, the library had a grandparent's event for painting bird houses. Matt saw it advertised and asked Grandmom and Granddad if they would like to participate and they said yes! Grandmom and Mason were paired together. Granddad and Maddox were paired together and they had a great time! The end results were beautiful! 

  

After they painted, Mason gave the grand tour of the library.

Grandmom and Granddad's 60th Anniversary Party

On June 6th, Matt's grandparents, Grandmom and Granddad, celebrated 60 years of marriage. Some of their friends planned a surprise dinner for them and it was such a sweet night. 

Their friends tricked them to get them there and it was pretty cute when they came in and saw all of us waiting for them! 

  

  

We ate a delicious meal and anyone who wanted to share stories was able to do that. It was sweet time with lots of laughter and some tears, too! 

  

  

Matt's mom shared a sweet poem about them. 

These pictures start the ones Matt took with his camera. He got some GREAT ones! The set up was super sweet and just perfect for Grandmom and Granddad.
