We woke up at the crack of dawn on Wednesday because apparently these boys were READY TO GO!
PawPaw picked up the waffles that are what we are going to start calling "PawPaw waffles" because the boys only really get them at PawPaw's!
Maddox's hair was EXCELLENT!
Like I said, we were up early so we got to see the sunrise. I couldn't catch a good picture but it was worth it for the memory.
The boys ate and got dressed and were ready for playtime with the pups.
I took the boys to the park for a bit but it was SOOO wet! We played for a few minutes and then left.
We headed straight to SLU to visit Aunt Celie!
We visited for a bit and then headed to the bookstore to browse.
We went back to meet up with Aunt Celie to walk over to Gumbo Ya-Ya! We skipped the gumbo but we definitely got cake. :)

We enjoyed our visit and then we headed back to PawPaw's house. The boys napped and this is how I found Mason...
Maddox told PawPaw that rest time was OVER!
So. Much. Love.
After snack, we headed to pick up some pumpkins for a bit of decoration and then a quick stop at Tractor Supply.
We attempted pumpkin pictures back at Dad's but that was a bit too ambitious.
Sort of good?
A bit better?
I give up!
Then we headed to Brittany's house to visit with her and her daughter. Such a fun time playing, chatting and of course, having snacks!
Maddox even found a pacifier...
Another try at a group picture. One day...
Once we got home, the boys had dinner and then played. Then Maddox hit his head. Sadness...
He recovered quickly and then cried again because he wanted to play not go to sleep!
Broke PawPaw's heart! But don't worry, within seconds, Maddox was asleep!
Then a bit of Mason and PawPaw time.
I ended the day with delicious Raising Cane's. Wayyyy more than I needed to eat but it was SO GOOD!
