A Broken Kind of Beautiful, A Novel {Book Review}

**I received this book for free from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review.**

A Broken Kind of Beautiful written by Katie Ganshert is an incredible book. I've mentioned in recent reviews that I love reading novels but many of the books that I've read lately weren't novels. When I saw this book, I knew it was right up my novel alley. ;-)

This story is set right here in my home state of South Carolina so that drew me to it even more. The story follows a young model whose career is nearing an end because of her age and her attitude. She finds herself back in South Carolina helping someone who she doesn't want to help but knowing it's the only way to possibly kickstart her career again.

The story is full of brokenness and redemption and the perfect combination of each. The story includes a line of a love story but it doesn't overtake the story. I thought the characters in the story were deep and inviting.

The one thing I didn't like about the book is that the story ends before the "happily ever after" is shared. The epilogue includes three paragraphs of the "ending" and that wasn't quite enough for me. However, that wasn't enough for me to dislike the book altogether. Trust me, it is worth the read.
