Her Fear by Shelley Shepard Gray {A Book Review}

A couple of years ago, I read the first book in Shelley Shepard Gray's "The Amish In Hart County" series and I have enjoyed each one since. The latest in the series, Her Fear, was no different for me!
As an initial note, all of these books come together for the series with certain people intertwining the various stories, however, I believe each book can be read individually without any issue.

Her Fear presents the story of Sadie Detweiler who becomes pregnant and is faced with an unexpected response to that pregnancy. When her family sends her away, she finds herself with distant family. The extended family is Amish but of a different sect. Because of that, they do things differently in many, many ways.

While staying with family, strange and suspicious things begin to happen around town and Sadie notices that her family becomes extremely cautious and begins behaving awkwardly. Sadie finds herself in a desperate place because she needs them to help care for her because she is pregnant but she also wants to know what is going on.

Through the series of interesting events, she meets someone as well. As the story continues, it becomes intriguing to find out what happens next. There are a few surprises included as well. If you like Amish fiction, I'd recommend this one as well as the others in the series.

**Thank you to the publisher who sent me this book.**
