On December 15th, we headed to Louisiana for a few days. Matt stayed behind to work so it was just my guys and me.
Mason was singing Christmas songs pretty much the whole drive and he is quite serious about it!
Until he can't help but smile! 😂
Maddox did so well! and napped for a long while on the drive.

It was ice cold when we arrived at Uncle Jay's so we bundled up quickly and headed outside!
They were so excited to see Sport and play with him some.
It was also time to feed the fish so Mason was all about that.
Man, I love that boy so much.
Sport was well loved during our 24 hours we were visiting.
Boys enjoyed some TV time watching Tom and Jerry.
While we were hanging out, Matt got some great time with Grandmom and Granddad with Dulce de Leche cake and game time.
Saturday morning came EARLY but we made the best of it, bundled up and headed outside.
We enjoyed getting to spend time with Uncle Jay and DeeDee. They didn't love our early wake up but we did the best we could.
We also got to open Christmas presents and we were all spoiled by Uncle Jay and DeeDee! Cars, cam chairs and table, camo cups, money and snacks. It was the best!
While we waited for a yummy meal to be ready, we played some more. My guys loved the time in the country for sure!
Matt sent us picture proof of all of the work he was doing at home! :)

We stayed there until about 3:00 or so and then headed to PawPaw's house. Those boys were happy happy!
That evening, we headed to see Christmas lights and they were beautiful! When the boys were in bed, I enjoyed some sugar. 😉
That was part 1 of our fun trip!
