I received the ebook, Nashville Sweetheart, by Rachel Hauck for review from BooklookBloggers.
This fictional book is the story of Aubrey James, a current country star who rose to fame after the death of her gospel music pioneer parents. She has an extremely public life, as one would imagine, given the nature of her career and this, at times, makes her life difficult for her and very interesting and intriguing to those trying to follow her story...fans, tabloids, etc. The story was written decently but for some reason, it just couldn't hold my attention for long periods of time.
I don't want to "blame" the author and/or the book for that because it could just be the nature of our life right now with a sick baby and a sick momma. If you like fiction with a little romance and drama, you may really enjoy this book.
