Punderdome {A Game Review}

Punderdome is not my usual book review. It's much more exciting than that: it's a GAME review!! Given our current situation with a newborn in our house, there isn't a TON of reading going on around here so reviewing a game sounded like the perfect thing for us.

Punderdome is a card game for pun lovers made by the creators of the live game show by the same name. Matt and I have several people in our family who are quite pun-ny so we thought this would be a great addition to our game collection.

Not only is Punderdome a great game, it's great for just getting people talking. Matt and I actually decided you could just skip the rules and just pull the cards out, make puns and have fun with that.

The main goal of Punderdome is to make bad jokes, really bad jokes. Puns, puns, puns.

Without sharing every single rule of the game (you can read them here on Amazon), I think it's similar to an Apples to Apples set-up in that players come up with a pun based on cards and one player chooses who had the best pun.

The game comes in a small box that includes two sets of cards, paper for writing the puns, and two envelopes where the host puts a slip of paper that has the "prize" for the game on it. The goal is for fun and silly prizes.

I think this would be a great game for a group and we can't wait to share it with our family. Check it out!

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
