I was recently given the opportunity the receive a teeth whitening kit from Smile Brilliant via US Family Guide. For years, I've wanted to whiten my teeth a bit but honestly, it can be expensive and that's just not a priority for us. Anyway, I was excited for this opportunity. A kit arrived at my door with everything I needed to make the molds for my whitening trays. I completed these and mailed within 24 hours. The whitening gel and the desensitizing gel was included in the original box which was nice because when my custom fitted whitening trays arrived about 10 days later, I was ready to go!
I have sensitive teeth and when I've used store-bought whitening systems in the past, I haven't been able to use for long because they hurt my teeth. With this system from Smile Brilliant, I was able to whiten my teeth between 45 and 90 minutes nightly, apply the desensitizing gel after and not experience any sensitivity. I did give it a try one night without the desensitizing gel and I noticed a big time difference so if you have sensitive teeth, definitely purchase the kit for sensitive teeth. The website lists these kits between $140 and $190 and if you've ever purchased from a dentist, you know they can cost nearly $500 so this is a great deal.
As for the whitening, I noticed a great amount of difference for sure and I was quite pleased with the results after just two weeks of using the product. However, after another week or so of not using, I did feel like a little bit of the progress was gone. However, even with that said, I was majorly impressed with the quick-working nature of the product. I also feel like even though my teeth weren't sparkling white (which was expected for me. I have yellow-based teeth anyway. I've never had BRIGHT white teeth!), I felt like the evenness of color on my teeth was majorly improved. I would like to continue using this product for a longer period of time and see how much more progress I can notice.
