Phew, I've got to play catch-up!
We celebrated Maddox's 2nd birthday on June 6th. I have an update post coming about what all is going on with him but for now, his big day!
These few pictures were our last pictures of our 1 year old!
The morning of his birthday, we got him up singing Happy Birthday to him. He was a bit uncertain!

We left the farm and stopped by the house for some presents. I didn't wrap them so I just stuck them in this bag and he had a blast opening! He received a few cards from family. From us, a fire station with parts, wooden cookies for playtime, and a few other things.
After the presents, we headed to his check-up. He was a trooper until Dr. Shelley asked to check him out. Then? NOT A FAN!
Turns out, he had an ear infection. a double ear infection! He hadn't been eating much but we just thought it a phase, likely it was from the infection.
He perked up though!
We ran to Cakehead and picked up cookies and headed to the park to enjoy them!

We all shared them and they were delicious. We had sugar cookie with birthday frosting, kitchen sink and chocolate chip cookies.
We had a quick lunch at Wendy's with plans for a further meal when Maddox was eating more.
After nap, we went over to the neighbor's house so they could give Maddox his birthday present.
He received cheeseballs and he was PUMPED!
We headed to the library for story time. What's better than a birthday story time!?!
That night after dinner, we had ice cream sandwiches. He was a happy guy!
It was a great day!!
All tuckered out!
We are so glad to have a sweet two year old!
