Well, the original plans we had for our Atlanta weekend were changed when the boys ended up with colds. They were thankfully feeling fine by the time the weekend got there but we postponed one of our hotel nights because it was an extra special one and we'd rather do that when everyone is well.
That being said, Mom was flying out of Atlanta so we were going down anyway. We kept our second hotel night and decided to just make it a chill 36ish hours. It was great!
The last few hours with our GiGi!
Too loud? Yeah, I understand loud.
We always take a picture of GiGi's CocaCola sign!
Bye, GiGi! We love you!
We headed toward our hotel and stopped at Perimeter Mall. We've been wanting to try Shake Shack so we were so excited but honestly, it was a let down. It wasn't bad but for the price of it, we could have eaten much better food!
GiGi sent the boys pictures of planes because duh.
After eating, we walked around the mall. The boys got to ride rides and get a fun treat from the Disney store.
Mason was excited to ride in this car outside of Microsoft.
Trying on some new clothes. ;)
These kids, all of them, were excited about hotel relaxation!
We were in the hotel for seconds before I was in my comfy clothes, the iPads were pulled out and we were chilling.
That afternoon we ran to Publix and picked up some food for dinner. The boys requested Lunchables and Matt and I got fried chicken, potato salad and macaroni salad. It was all so good and fun to picnic in a hotel. :)
After we ate, we decided to watch a movie as a family. Maddox wasn't that into it but we pushed through anyway.
We ate a yummy breakfast the next morning and hung out at the hotel for a while before heading out.
When we left, we decided to go to Suntrust Park to see the new Braves field. It was COLD!!! But it was such an incredible area! We walked around for a while and then we had lunch there at Wahlburgers.
Wahlburgers was YUM!!! I had Matt take a few pictures of the restaurant and then Mason took some, too.
Mason took this one.
Maddox took this one.
Then Mason took some more.
😂
He was so proud of them and I was a bit impressed, too! We shared burgers, fries and onion rings and left STUFFED!
The ride home was quiet for all Look at that sleepy head!
I loved these moments!
