That being said, this book was not my favorite. It was super slow to me and I felt like the author left big gaps in each chapter. I did love the overall message of the story and the loyalty of a wife to continue praying for and trusting her husband when he is off doing something that she doesn't know about or understand.
If you like historical fiction, you may enjoy this book especially if you have loved the other Quilts of Love series, you should check this book out. Perhaps, you will like it slightly more than me!
