Mason: Month 10 {Update} + {Pictures}

Less than 2 months until Mason is ONE!

Weight: Uncertain but likely 24+ pounds

Height: Again, not sure, most of his pants are still the right length so I assume he hasn't grown too much height wise this month.

Nicknames: Bugga Bugga, Mase, Buddy, Sug (like sugar)

Eating (Milk): Mason is still getting three 9 ounce bottles at 7a, 11a, 6:45p. He has varied some this month with drinking between 7-9 for each bottle. He had a little bout with stomach issues this month so that affected intake but he picked back up by month's end.

Eating (Solids): Mason is eating EVERYTHING! Little Man has 6 teeth (4 of which came in this month) and he is not afraid to try anything. His favorite foods right now are black beans, green beans, greek yogurt bites, toast and watermelon.

Sleeping: This month, Mason moved to an even more consistent 7-7 schedule. He always slept until 6-6:30 but some mornings were a little fussier than others. This month, he leveled out to sleeping until 7 and if he wakes up early, he just plays and chatters. Naps are still from 9-11 and 1-3.

Diapers: We used disposable diapers (LUVS size 5) for the period of stomach issues that Mason had this month. But we still love our cloth diapers. Mason looks so cute in them!

Clothes: This month, Mason moved into mostly 18 month clothes with some 24 month clothes. There are a few 12 month items that still fit but it's few and far between.

Social: Mason became a little more bashful this month. He doesn't cry around strangers but he does bury his head on us many times when others speak to him.

Mason has been smiling so much and giving lots and lots of kisses to Matt and me.

New/fun things from this month: Mason took his first flight this month. We went to visit our family in Louisiana on the 6th and returned on the 16th. He did great overall. He got a bit fussy at times but nothing to complain about!

By the end of the month, Mason had abandoned the army crawl altogether. He is standing for small bits of time alone but it's almost as if he doesn't want to and just plops down. Kinda strange and funny. But I'm not rushing him.

Mason is SO close to saying "ma", "da" and "yu" (yum) and a few other words. He says the "words" all of the time but they aren't in reference to anything yet so not really a true word. So funny to listen to him chatter.

We have some reusable food pouches and Mason learned to feed them to himself independently. We usually fill them with applesauce or yogurt.

Likes:  Mason likes pretty much every food

He loves blowing raspberries on our arms. It's so cute!

Mason likes to watch just a few minutes of a couple of shows: Daniel Tiger, Curious George and Dinosaur Train. He literally watches about 4 minutes.

Mason REALLY likes the storage drawer under the oven but we are trying to break that. It's taking time but I have faith he will stop soon! :)

Dislikes: Hmmm...I can't think of much. He dislikes when it is time to get out of the bathtub. :)

Funnies: Mason learned how to fake cough this month. I coughed one night and he copied me. And then he kept doing it. SOOO FUNNY!

Mommy: This month, Mason helped Mom celebrate her 30th birthday. We have also been getting out more this month. Lots of fun MOMs club activities, story times, park visits and shopping.

Daddy: During this past month, Dad and Mason have gotten to spend a lot of Sundays together when I work. They have gone to church and done other fun things. They even spent an afternoon together shopping for Mom's birthday presents! Also, lots of swimming, too! They also are enjoying trucks and trains.

Other: Mason began grinding his teeth some this month. It's not when he is asleep but intermittently when he is awake.

Mason also started chewing a bit on the edges of the crib. OH boy!
