Wild and Free by Jess Connolly & Hayley Morgan {A Book Review}

I've been following Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan on social media for several years now and I've been anxiously awaiting their book, Wild and Free

Before I give my quick review, I will say that this book arrived just before I delivered my second child and I read the majority of it just days before baby boy was born. The remaining portion of the book was read during postpartum days soooo...do with that what you will! :)

Wild and Free was a beautiful book. Connolly and Morgan take turns writing chapters and after each chapter that Connolly writes, Morgan will give a little blurb about what was said in that chapter and vice versa. I thought that was a nice touch.

I also enjoyed that each of the authors of Wild and Free identified themselves more with each of the characteristics "wild" or "free". That allowed them each to write extensively about the topics and I think that worked really well for this book.

My favorite aspect of this book was all of the scripture that Connolly and Morgan brought forth to support the topics they were presenting in the book. So often, I feel like authors take one verse and just keep pulling info from it, maybe too much info. These authors utilized a TON of scripture and I LOVED that so much.

I think this book is an excellent resource for empowering women. There are so many different perspectives in the "church world" about what a woman should or shouldn't be. Wild and Free brought out fresh perspective and I liked it very much.

Thanks, Hayley and Jess. Keep doing you!

**I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.**
