The Pizza Bible by Tony Gemignani {A Book Review}

The Pizza Bible by Tony Gemignani is an incredible book for pizza lovers including those who make pizza often at home and those who would like to start doing so. These Morgans LOVE pizza so we knew we would love this book!!! The author is the owner of seven restaurants and has been making pizza for twenty years.

First, the pictures in this book are amazing...bright, vibrant and clear. I think I could smell and taste the pizza through them. YUM!

Gemignani presents several aspects of pizza making throughout the book including theory regarding making pizza as well as practicing making pizza. He also gives excellent lists for what ingredients one needs to make pizza doughs as well as dough starters.

The remaining chapters of the The Pizza Bible present various styles of pizzas including Chicago, Grilled and Sicilian. There are over 50 recipes for various types of pizza including Campari, Cast Iron Skillet Pizza and so on.

There are so many recipes that look amazing that it will take us a lifetime to make them all but we sure plan to give it our best shot!

This book would be a super fun Christmas gift for those on your family/friends list that love cooking and love pizza.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
