Nashville Trip: Day 4 {October 2018}

Saturday morning in Nashville came early...are you sensing a trend yet? 😂
We were all getting ready to go so we could have a fun day.
Aunt Anne was reading with the Morgan boys. 😍

Our first stop of the day was Five Daughters Bakery.

The boys, Matt and myself split a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, apple praline donut and a speculoos donut. The biscuit was by far the best part of the meal. Well, that and the chocolate milk we got to go with everything. :)

Next, Aunt Anne and Uncle Ben took us to Lifeway Headquarters where they work. It was a fun time for sure!

They even had games we could play!

The audience. 😂

Aunt Anne and Uncle Ben treated the Morgan boys to a book each at the LifeWay store. Before we left, we decided we would exercise...outside of the exercise room. haha!

Our next stop was Parnassus bookstore to browse and attend their story time. We told Aunt Anne and Uncle Ben about all of our favorite children's books while there.

We ate lunch at Cilantro, a local Mexican favorite of Ben and Anne, and then Anne and I headed to The Candle Bar for a candle making class!

We had such a great time and I honestly hope I get to do it again someday!

Meanwhile back at the apartment...

I mean...can you even...

After our candle making class, we headed north of the city to check out Dirt Cheap. I hit the Halloween costume jackpot and Anne found some good stuff, too!

I had to get another picture of the Batman building for the boys...duh.

That afternoon, we chilled out, played outside, read, and helped decorate for Halloween. Mason was incredibly sad that Aunt Anne and Uncle Ben didn't have ANY Halloween decor so we helped remedy that. 😂

We also decorated cupcakes that Aunt Anne made. More pictures of that to come soon!

That evening...Matt and Ben went to pick up our candles...complete goobs. That's what they are...

Once the boys were in bed, we ate this delicious Mongolian beef and we added fried rice. It was delicious and then we watched Purdue win a BIG game before bed. It was a darn good day!
