Today I wanted to share one of our favorite breakfast dishes: Dutch Pancake.
We found the recipe years ago here and we have made it many times since then.
The recipe can be found at the link but I thought I'd share it here, too.
Turn the oven on to 400 degrees. Cut 1/2 stick of butter into small pieces and put it in a 9x13 dish.
Put the dish into the oven while it heats up and you mix the remaining ingredients. **Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn.**
In a bowl, beat six eggs. Add 1 cup of flour gradually and mix until completely smooth.
Then, add 1 cup of milk and heath together until kind of frothy.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Take out the dish from the oven and pour mixture into the dish.
Return to the oven quickly and set the timer for 20 minutes. It will puff up HUGE and that's normal. It will be done when the middle isn't runny/wet.
When it's done, take out, cut and serve with syrup, powdered sugar, fruit etc. YUM!!!
