As I've mentioned before, since motherhood and marriage is my life right now, I've been reading many books on those subjects. Books about parenting and marriage can be so helpful in growing our ability as parents as well as strengthening our marriage.
The book, How Many Times Do I Have to Tell You by Rachael Carman, is a great source for parenting that is written in a unique way unlike other parenting books. Rachael writes brief 2-3 page stories of her life with her own children and relates those stories to our relationship with the Lord or to how those situations with our children can help us to direct them to the Lord more.
After each story, there are questions that help you reflect on situations with your own children. While I really enjoyed this book, I think it will be even more practical as Mason grows up and we enter into more and more discipline areas and teachable moments. I will definitely come back to this resource.
