Over the next several posts, I'll be recapping our fun Louisiana trip! The first full day was driving. We made it in exactly 12 hours including a lunch stop, gas stop, and stop to bring GiGi to her house.
On the road! And we brought Mr. Bear with us!

The boys were playing with Mason's new magnifying glass and Mom got some hilarious pictures!!
We had lunch at Chick-Fil-A and then both boys napped!
And woke up happy!

We dropped GiGi off and headed to PawPaw's house. Everyone was happy but ready!

Thursday morning started with a PawPaw wake up party and then University Donuts. YUM!
And another nap for Maddox!
Chill time for these guys. Piled up on a sofa full of pillows!
We mostly hung at the house and then we headed to Wal-Mart for a couple of things. Maddox was gnawing hard on Sophie! Those teeth are relentless!

We made it back to PawPaw's and he invited the guys on a fun adventure. Matt put on the rubber boots!
Apparently that wore Maddox out!
While they walked, I read my book in silence...pure bliss. They returned and Mason had a fistful of wildflowers for me! He said, "Ma, put dese in water!"
Helping PawPaw with chores is the best!
