The Nesting Place {A Book Review}

*I received this book for free from BookLook in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.*

If you've been hanging out in the social media/blogging world over the last few weeks, you've probably seen this book. Lots of bloggers whose blogs I read were mentioning this book and when I saw it was up for review, I immediately requested it.

Myquillyn Smith writes a blog, Nesting Place, and her tag line is "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful." I have seen Myquillyn's blog over the last few years and have read a bit here and there but nothing consistent. After reading her book, I am excited to follow along on her blog and learn more from her.

Myquillyn shares her story of living in many different places including houses and apartments, both rented and owned. She shares her ideas for making your space beautiful. I could really relate to the book. I LOVE to decorate our house, a rented duplex, with what we have. Myquillyn's story just further encouraged me to keep doing what I'm doing.

Sometimes, it gets hard to decorate your house on a budget and she shares ideas about thrifting, DIY, shopping your house, etc. Myquillyn is super encouraging in sharing her ideas and all of the ideas are based on her experience which makes it even better!

If you have struggled to make your space your own, you should check out this book ASAP! It is such an encouragement for home decorating. Not to mention, this book is extremely well written, in my opinion.

I review for BookLook Bloggers
