Maddox's 3rd Birthday was on June 6th! He spent his last day as 2 on June 5th. He was showing it off!
Sleeping as a 2 year old to wake up 3!
On the big day, Maddox woke up sick. We had been planning and planning for a big birthday party at the fire station with lots of friends and we had to cancel it that morning. I was down in the dumps about it but he was okay with it so I learned to be!
Back track a bit. We woke him up with our traditional balloons in the bed/room.
He LOVED it!
We had blueberry crisp for breakfast. YUM!
We tried to make it a super fun day for our boy. He wasn't feeling terrible. He just had an awful cough and was snotty and we knew it was likely contagious. Thankfully, he wasn't cranky and he still had a good day.
My mom, Mason and Matt ran out for a few birthday related errands so Maddox and I got some good snuggles!
They tried to find a bike for Maddox so Mason tried a few out.
Later that day, we decorated the house like we had planned to decorate the fire station and we made the most of it!
Maddox got to open some presents, too!
Our GiGi brought something for Mason, too!
He loved all of his presents!

GiGi got these cool air chairs and the boys loved them. We set them up and watched a movie!
Matt fell asleep! 😂
They were chilling.
A precious family dropped off flowers and cards and a gift for Maddox. It was the sweetest.
We had cake! We had gotten a gigantic cake from Costco so we had cake for daysssss since only 5 of us were eating it instead of the intended 20+.
It was all fun and games until he singed his eyelashes a bit. 😑
The cake made it all better thankfully and those eyelashes have since grown back to full length.
The air chairs proved to be lots of fun!
